Friends dropped their eldest off at Bristol last weekend for her first year. She was in a flat that's part of a hall due to be sharing with a whole bunch of other girls. What she didn't know is that the others weren't arriving for two days. Meanwhile she was getting texts from all of her friends banging on about how good the freshers stuff was at the different unis they were going to. Oof.
