  • First time developing in ages. Banged out a Tri x 400 and tmax 100 in FX39 (same tank because they both need 8 mins), and a tmax 400 in a second run.

Downloaded the massive dev chart app, which probably made things easier, but my rustiness undid any advantage no doubt.

  • this is a long way back - but thank you so much for this! been using my bronica way more than ever, and haven't used a meter since. here's a few choice shots from the last few months:

    roll 44

    roll 45

    roll 45

extra bonus points if anyone can diagnose this, is it a developing issue or a light leak?!

    roll 45

  • Lovely images. Free yourself from the meter and your mind will follow :)

  • A couple more:

  • And some from a point-and-shoot. Not really keen on the vignetting on these and they seem a bit more contrasty than I was expecting, but I'll probably try another roll with it.

  • A few from Sicily. Amazing what an almost 40 years old Nikon F3t can do if you give it enough light. Portra 400 with a 1.8 50mm.

  • Bravo πŸ‘πŸΌ

    Absolutely fucking ace.

  • Thanks both.

  • I was having a clear out at the weekend and found an old 35mm compact. I was going to throw it out but checked eBay first and was amazed that they seem to go for Β£80-Β£100. I didn't know people still wanted film compacts.

It is a olympus stylus epic zoom 80

Good combo for punchy pics! πŸ™‚

Also I love those fancy grandma trolleys..

  • Ultramax is <Β£5 a roll at Mather's FYI.

  • out of stock :(

  • You can usually still purchase through the website and they'll ship it once it arrives in stock.

I did the same when they were out of ColorPlus and they just sent an email to confirm I was ok with that.

thanks for the headsup, I'm not in the UK though
(plus I have sort of stopped shooting film for now basically : )

  • Hi, quick post to gauge interest ... have a Rolleiflex 6006 that I am not using as much as I used to. Ideally I would sell, but also might be interested to swap for a point and shoot digital like a Ricoh Giii or something of a similar calibre. Also on the wishlist is a Contax G1 / 2 / 3 ...

    Rollei 80mm HFT 2.8
    120 6x6 back + Polaroid back
    2 batteries + charger

  • Mate had some negs come out like this. Any ideas? The β€œleak” looks more brown than other exposed areas. Could it be old fix?

    They're fucked.

  • On a more serious note what did you mate use for developing? Have chemicals been correctly mixed / stored / etc.?

If baffles me that there are both big soft clouds (the dark brown ones) as well as those sharper, lighter, smaller ones.
Could it also be the film was stored inappropriately (like in the sun) ?

  • Cross post from the for sale thread, anyone want a cheap P&S? Pretty sure it worked last time I fired it up. Bit of a timecapsule set, case and instructions. Β£10+p&p?
