We randomly had 2 of these in 2 weeks come in, one had wonky BB shell/threads, other had wonky head tube.

I think Tester once said something along the lines of, in the context of cycling, the benefits of titatnium are far outweighed by the drawbacks of the material.

Depends on the quality of the material, and who is making it. As with everything ever, basically.
