Very excited to report that after having been sat for 31 years in Mum and Dads loft - "Wild Willy" (original version) is back in my hands.
The tyres are not perished just yet and the AA batteries that were left in the receiver didn't leak too much either. So far so good.
Apparently I'll be needing a new RC battery and charger.
The photo shows how my younger self repaired major crash damage with Meccano.
Any one know where to head for replacement parts? Are we 3D printing this stuff yet...
