Good luck. I recall now the old pomps did come standard with an on one external track crank - they don't exist anymore, but you could ping planet x an email to see if they remember the size too.
As a bodge, I've used a diy clamp thing to provide an approximate level of bearing preload, and then just done the pinch bolts up good and tight.
I don't think the big bolt is ever intended to provide resistance to a crank falling off, as the plastic one will fail pretty quick.

Thanks, I never thought of actually just trying a Shimano one to see if it fits! That's the first thing to do. Then I can measure if it doesn't fit and hit ebay.
