The not wanting my money thing was a one line tongue in cheek comment that I have money for a nice new bike and I want the forum to help me spend it. I'm sure most people would get that, maybe I should have used a smily emoji?

Not sure you’re painting an accurate picture of our decision not to progress with your project here! Appreciate it might have been a bit disappointing but please can we not give the impression that we have been rude or told you to stuff your money please?
Our model has changed to a project-by-project basis. We are so grateful to be in a position to do this and have done so to make raising our daughter together our main priority, not grappling for every potential build.
A little understanding of how negative throw away comments like this can be for two-person self-employed businesses, especially now, would be most appreciated.
