When I used up the last of my Assos I bought a £2 tub of Sudocream. I miss the ball-chilling goodness of Assos but I think I will stick with Sudocream now. Only for rides > ~150k/100mi though, wouldn't want to make my skin too soft.

I prefer the rough feel.

tbh - I've actually come round to assos cream. Turns out my gooch problems were more related to bad saddle choice and shit bib shorts. Both sorted now and I rarely get any discomfort.

I need to bring this thread back as the world's supply of Muc-Off "luxury" chamois cream seems to have been depleted for weeks. (and will be for weeks to come so it seems)
I scraped the faint remainders out of the crevices of my tub yesterday and will need something else to replace this magic bum cream.
Have never tried anything else, do I dare get the Assos?

Assos is still the king just twice the price. Prendas has bend stuff in which is good.

Has anyone recommended Burts Bees yet? I've been using it all summer and my arse area is absolutely fine.

This is great stuff, invented by the man himself. And I think he did the design himself as well :)

I really liked this stuff, but have switched to BeElite and find it stays put much better

As expected, everyone is using something else claiming it the BEST EVER.
There should be a polling function for stuff like this. :) -

^^Erm, not really. Depending on what's to hand / how I feel, I use either:
I suppose they're all a shitload cheaper than the lanolin-plus-fragrance-dressed-up-as-cycling-specific concoctions that you get from cycling retailers.
(I've got some unrefined Shea Butter, but I'm suspicious that it's blocked my pores, as I've developed the occasional sore when using it)
