Of course I'm not judging him on his time at Liverpool. The guy has literally won everything there was to win in both Germany and Spain, multiple times over. He's a complete different player of course but he's incredibly effective. If it wasn't for Xavi and Iniesta I'm sure he would've stayed a lot longer at Barcelona than he eventually did.

Really? Passing maybe, but Gerrard is one of the best midfielders in Premiership history, slip or no slip. Thiago has played 45 minutes.
The Premiership was also a very different league during Gerrard's very best years, but he was able to adapt as the style of football changed.
