I'd expect it pro-ratered up to the day you leave.

The full amount, technically, if you're paying rent in advance. Rent payable in advance is not capable of being apportioned since the Apportionment Act 1870 only applies to rent payable in arrears, not rent payable in advance. A lot of landlords don't know that though.

When paying the last month's rent on a rolling month-by-month contract should be pay the full amount? or just for the period we've given notice for?
