Are you actually comparing Thiago with Gerrard? Thiago is miles and miles ahead. Best team won today, no complaints.

Really? Passing maybe, but Gerrard is one of the best midfielders in Premiership history, slip or no slip. Thiago has played 45 minutes.
The Premiership was also a very different league during Gerrard's very best years, but he was able to adapt as the style of football changed.
