City got an extra week off because their European campaign finished late.
I think the fact the play Monday is just a vagary of the scheduling to allow every game to be televised.
I don’t think anyone need worry about City this season. Unless they make some signings, it’ll be another year of going backwards. It wouldn’t surprise me if they finished third or fourth. Guardiola will be on his merry way.
