It's questionable because the Monkeylites were clamped too tight and kinda cracked the bars but its fiiine

Bought a beater off the forum one month ago, and it was stolen last night. That's not supposed to happen!! Someone took the sign off the signpost, stood on a wheelie bin and lifted it off the top (and then presumably put it in the back of a van as both wheels were locked).
It was so comfortable and like a pack-mule, and now I need a replacement... Comfort and carrying capacity are my main requirements.. Thanks

That seems a lot of work to steal what is supposed to be a beater. How much of a shitter was it?

I know! It was this Specialized one – the seller @mk1mark described it as 'agricultural'.. https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/352232/#comment15460806
A janky Specialized mtb frame with crunchy gears and fat tyres that was actually one of the comfiest rides I've ever owned, and I never thought this would happen! And even more annoyed as I just spent £20 on a rack and bought a new kryptonite, and feel like this might just happen again regardless of how shit it is/how many locks I put on it.

Yeah, if they went to that much effort for it they'd probably have taken anything I guess so at least it was cheap. Retro MTBs and fat tyres and shizzle are in right now so it's probably actually more desirable than some carbon roadie.
