This makes the blood boil, few months ago they were refusing international comparisons because of this and that reason. They only want to compare when they can spin it in their favour
Newsnight had two graphs last night that were interesting that I can't find online.
One showed testing capacity/1000, with the exception of Denmark we have the highest in Europe
Second showed cases/ 1000 tests, ours was far lower than much of Europe, the question they can't answer is our we just testing loads of people who don't need tests or is Europe much better at targetting where to deploy tests and how to maximise their impact which I guess is the num of the matter
