  • It’s the amount of grounds that need to be purged when changing from espresso to filter or using a different bean.

    Also the given the retention isn’t consistent having to weigh beans in, grounds out and either deciding to accept the exchange or try to get as much of the retained grounds out each time the grinder is used.

    Vs a grinder with such low retention (and consequently exchange too) that these things don’t have to be done. Also lower waste.

  • Mate....I just want a fucking coffee. You don't have to pull out a chart from 1923 with an obscure logarithmic quantum formula that was theoriesed by Roserberg and forgotten by time. Just grind the fucking things and make the coffee.
