I used to collect London Underground pocket maps, usually found in shoe boxes in charity shops and boot sales among the postcards or old photos. I’m not a collector. I can give it up anytime honest. [sniff]

1933 was the first Beck schematic. I have a 1935 that is close to it. Really beautiful.

I drove my wife mad trying to find a large format paper map of the Tokyo train system. I only managed to find an A4 one. But still a nice map

I've tried collecting a few things but never maintained the interest to keep it going.
What I have started doing lately is digging out or trying to track items that I treasured as a youth. Mainly picture books (ahem) as music and film is so readily available in digital format (and bar my vinyl I have no means to play any of it). Saying that I have kept a few things I don't have the heart to let go of even though I can't play them.
Currently on the list if anyone can help!

Sharks picture book (countless nightmares, still trying to trace publisher)
Street Machine - Morris minor pickup special (most wanted car from 10 years old)
Tamiya 1992 RC catalogueTrying to avoid buying the things I wanted so badly as a child but these keep coming back to mind
Mike Mcgill Deck - OG pink, used with wear and tear
Tamiya Avante
Oakley F1 grips in OG packaging
Team Ventements Z racing kit (my bro used to have this in the early 90’s)
My bro's old handbuilt road bike (trying to piece together what it was and where it went) -

Good thread, love the maps and the Tintin cards.
I collect RSPB badges, 1 each time I see a box, currently creating a painting of landscape so I can put them on it in their habitats. (Sado). Pic of a few of them waiting...
I also collect OMM maps, which is probably a bit niche.
