I think at almost 50cm wide it's too big for a dutch type crate, and for anything bigger I have about 20cm overhang either side of the rear rack, which puts quite a lot of leverage on any fixings.
I think I might go for a Minoura Gamoh, as it looks like it should almost fully support the printer, and I can still use the rear rack pannier for my laptop etc then.

Ah, so not too bad; think mine weighs about twice that. Would strapping a box/crate to the rear rack (with removable cable ties or the like) and using a cargo net on top work? Otherwise it sounds like the thing a Porteur rack is built for.
