These universal geneve compax look extremely similar to Speedmasters... Am I missing something?

Pretty similar, quite a bit smaller though - 36mm Vs 42mm. UG went more for the racing driving angle like Heuer with this model, the name Evil Nina is because it’s the reverse colour way of a watch synonymous with the driver Jochen Rindt (well his model wife Nina - stealth edit).

Wow. So I get that the layout is determined by the movement but the tachy scale, lyre lugs, even the pushers. Ha, the speedy is a homage. Love the UG design overall though, the handset, the type. Really nice. Thanks for the info.
