This is true. But the car was only £2600 in the first place. And it seems like it shouldn't be impossible. It's also driving me insane trying to get any info out of youtube as car washing and scratch repair seems to be a particular niche that is in such demand all the videos are 25 fucking minutes long.
It's a big scratch that the previous owner has tried to touch up and obviously abandoned halfway through - which annoyingly probably makes getting it right a harder job.
What was "reasonably cheap"? Hard to gauge in this thread from poster to poster!
Also fell down the scratch repair rabbit hole on youtube. Lots of 20 min+ videos and varied opinions. And then I'll have to clean and polish the fucker, which seems like a complete ordeal in itself!
