Pains me to say but I think it's time I sold my dream bike. It took me years from the start to today to get it to where it is, but my knee's can no longer take riding fixed and I've got a geared bike I ride daily now.

After some initial feedback I'd consider an offer over £1k, please message me offers and I can gauge from them how to proceed. If the values lower then I'll accept the closest price. Obviously it's not a new bike but all the parts bought new would value the bike at around £3k if not a bit more.

Most likely I'll sell the wheels separately, if I don't get a good enough offer on the rest I'm going to keep it and put some cheaper wheels on, I invested plenty of money into this and don't want to let it go for a value I'm unhappy with.

I spent a while sourcing and saving up for each part and slowly upgraded the bike as I could afford to do so. I also got it sprayed @ Armourtex 2 years ago. It's a nice black colour with faint grey speckles under the laquer. Please note there is some rust on the frame that I have taken a close up of.

I got the bike from Tour de Ville back when it existed around London Fields around 2009. It's a Rossini Track Frame, the tubing I'm not too sure on (obviously steel), and unfortunately the shop doesn't exist anymore. I imagine it's information easy to find online. The original paint colour was green and white gradient which was incredibly beautiful but I have scratched the laquer and I also just wanted an all black bike so got it sprayed around 2018. The seat tube is 56cm and the top tube length is 52cm - I'm not 100% sure how to accurately measure these so may be a cm or 2 off.

The forks are pro-lite forks that I bought fairly cheap around 7 years ago. Carbon Fibre except the bit that goes into the top tube is aluminium if I remember correctly.

The wheels are Zipp 808 Firecrest Clinchers - bought a few years ago and haven't been ridden extensively at all. They run incredibly smoothly, if I spin either of them they literally spin for an age. The rear wheel was deconstructed as you couldn't buy track clinchers for this set - I had it built at Brick Lane Bikes with a Phil Wood custom 32 Hole new hub and have kept the original hub (11 speed I think?) in perfect condition if you would like to change it back. I may even keep them and do that myself for my road bike. These were my dream wheels and were a treat to myself when I originally bought them. There's a little bit of cosmetic scratches on both I think but really small stuff if so. Will provide imagery. The rear wheel has a Phil locknut and Phil fixed cog. The wheels have brake surfaces but they haven't been used as I rode brakeless.

I'm not 100% of the bottom bracket brand, I got it replaced once when I got the Paul Royal Flush Crankset. I think it's a low level Campag BB but as mentioned not 100%.

The cranks are Paul Royal Flush, bought from Brick Lane bikes new around 5 years ago. It has been used for a while and the teeth on the cranks have worn a little but are fine on this bike and will be fine for years to come. It definitely has some wear on the paint. The chain is a few months old.

The pedals are currently DMR V12 Magnesium Pedals bought around 3 months ago, they've been used for less then 5 short rides so are like new. The straps are Cinelli Kink Straps bought at the same time so are like new.

The headset is Chris King, bought new at Brick Lane bikes around 5 years ago. Has wear, but comes with a lifetime guarantee I think? I can look into sharing the receipt if I have a digital one with a buyer.

The Stem is Nitto NP NJS 100, bought new I think also at Brick Lane Bikes around 8 years ago, it's a bit scratched up in places but is still in good nick for the age.

The handlebars are Nitto B260 Riser, bought around 8 years ago with the same paint job as the frame from Armourtex two years ago. They have some fairly new black grips on. Quite comfy grips if I do say so myself.

The seatpost is campag, I think it's Record? So quite a good level piece, bought in 2018/9 - please note I got the wrong size by 1mm or so, therefore used a homemade shiv (irn bru can) to tighten it up. This is far from ideal so if someone wants to change they can. I just couldn't be asked to spend more money at the time on another seat tube and sell the wrong one I bought.

The seat is some cheap Amazon seat I bought in the last few weeks hoping I could make the bike more comfortable to accomodate for the pain in my knees but it was too late ! You can see a brooks saddle a forum member here called Skully cut for me back when I bought the bike on the other image.

    Nice

  • Image doesn't work for me. Think its in iPhone format.

    EDIT: Working now.

  • If u Split I’ll take the wheelset!

  • ha, yeah I imagine that'll be most of the responses. What you offering? I'll keep it in mind as I speak to more

  • you will make more splitting than selling complete

  • I'm hoping for a quicker sale even if it means I won't make as much money with splitting. If there's enough interest in individual parts that make it worth splitting then I'm happy to change my approach.

  • Those wheels are hot shit 🔥 I'll pm

  • You're not going to get 1.5k for it. Not even 1k. Splitting is your best option.

  • Dibs headset and whatever dibs on wheels

  • Images can be found here: https://imgur.com/a/0p06vef

  • Okay, I’ll drop you a dm to discuss the wheels
    Cheers

  • still up for grabs?

  • Dibs crankset if you split

  • wheelset available ?

  • Cracked stay? Also you meant Rossin, not Rossini?

  • Is headset still available?

  • I've send you a DM.

  • What’s the bike stand? And where did you buy it from? Thanks
