So - exchanged today. Buyers are a right pain and asked for some scuffs in the floor to be repaired so we had to put in a £600 retention (it's a holiday rental property (I know >>golf club)). We complete on monday and they are expecting us to arrange to have the floor sorted AFTER they own it. Surprisingly, that's not going to happen.
£600 is a pain to lose, but if they think we are doing any of the nice, helpful handover paperwork we had planned, they are going to be disappointed. Jog on, whoppers. You reap what you sow.
