Hi, just went to check out the pictures and you are right, there is a faint thingy in the pictures that indicates that the screw boss for the number hanger is there. Interesting because the team TVM one i have the bosses for the brake cables are different... now need to locate that hanger...

Is it possible that the race number tag is screw-on, like a hole for a bottle cage? I had one like that on my titan (see previous page) and believe I have seen those on later steel Gazelles as well. Looking at the photo's there appears to be one of those underneath the toptube, but may be wishfull thinking.
