Pretty much bang on. It does everything adequately, which makes the experience...adequate.
You just don't really feel what the bike is doing through corners. Power comes on, but above 7k, it feels like it's wheezing.
Bouncy bits are pretty pogo. Front doesn't even have preload.I need to get the SV back on the road/track

Damn, I would've thought it would be getting lively over 7k. I HATE it when they de-tune motors for different applications.
SF has gone full Bladerunner, it's just orange and smoky here. Ash everywhere and it stinks. There are fires all over the Angeles NF so riding up there is off the cards . Local LE don't want people pissing around and the smoke is dreadful anyways.... Canyons by the sea are still fine but every squid in So-Cal is out at the weekend and they're much more heavily policed. Hopefully it will cool down enough in the next few weeks to get out to the desert off road.
