Went and test drove a Mk1 Nissan Leaf today, it drove well, really quiet and just a nice place to be.
Leaf, plus 6kW PV system and Tesla Powerwall is the plan, I really like the idea of energy independence!
Planning on a hybrid Superb or similar to replace the outback in around 3 years and that will mean all local journeys will be electric.
I had a family connection to a guy buying electric cars for a fleet. He went with the Leaf after extensive tests.
That's good to hear. Lots of taxis in scotland seem to be Leafs too, so that's always a good sign.
