There's a load of mushroom boxes on eBay in Rayleigh for £1 each.

Happy to stuff my car with them for a group buy and bring them back to London

Mushroom boxes are great for mushrooms,not much else.
They are very fragile,I use them for apples off the allotment,but you need to treat the boxes with kid gloves or they will break.
Also your local corner shop will gladly let you take than away foc.
