CAn anyone help? My gravel front fork is 15mm Thru axle, I want to change it to a Thru bolt (no QR) but I'm finding it really difficult to find the correct length.
Then I came across this conversion kit by JJBP. It looks great. Has anyone used one or know of anything similar UK based?

I have an extra Viner prestige CX fork which has a crown hole. It is the one I used on my gravel bike rando thing.
I made through axle mudguard mounts for it. Maybe that's usable for you?
It's 15mm axle tho -

Is it painted that cool grey/gold colour?
How did you manage the mudguard mount?
Also how much would it cost?I've made a kind of loop like you get on lowrider racks just to have a dyno light mounted.

It is black but I've started to remove logos and sand it a bit but stopped... I'll send you some photos later and we can discuss price ;-)
I made these mounts out of stainless and they work really well. I know August Cycles has designed some very similar to mine that he has in stock if you wanna buy some and just get on with it...

15mm/100 M15x1.5 Thread. Needs to be 130/135mm long. Forks are 17mm width either side.

What’s the exact shaft length? Not including the head.

Quite forward

Gold with black mixed in. Mario Vaz did it. He had a similar sample I pointed to

130/135mm shaft length would work.

I got one of those JJBP conversion kits to switch a focus mares fork from 15mm to 12mm. works fine. Delivery was pretty speedy too.

New Space Horse announced although a little hard to tell if it’s just new colours. Looks a little like the bottle bosses have moved south to accommodate frame bags but surely this is going to need spacers so that the cage doesn’t interfere with the FD

Not necessarily:

Does that mean you can’t set the front derailleur any lower?
-
• #12668
That must be the "obsessive attention to detail"

big bag of wank.
-
• #12671
Isn’t that derailleur also higher than the 1-3mm shimano recommends?
-
• #12672
Look like it’s way too high, even with perceptions taken in account.
-
• #12673
Full build comes with 46/30 chainrings so you’re unlikely to go much lower on a 2x setup but it’s still looking pretty suspect
-
• #12674
46/30 on a Space Horse is apt, as anything lower you kinda want a Gorilla Monsoon.

I guess you could use a different band clamp? M part ones (ugly as shit I know) come slotted rather than straight hole?
I just get by on 300mm steerer
