Very dignified.

Yeah, I'm pretty chuffed with it.
There might even be a market for it?

Throw some used seatbelts at it and itโll sell like hot cakes in the artsy craftsy world.
Maybe use terminology like โwork packingโ. -

Airline seatbelts would be perfect.

Emergency bolt replacement this morning. 10 years of zip ties in my tool roll finally vindicated.

Depending on how tight it is I'd consider putting a strap over the top also? Might be pretty appealing to traffic-light theives otherwise.
But yeah looks neat

• #1637
Yeah. I was going to. But I've run out of straps....

Have been thinking about doing this with a Pelicase for years.

Not sure why I didn't do this first...
Was missing the toothpick that didn't come with the alu version of my little jack knife, so I made one out of brass and got a little holder for it. Unfortunately it added bulk to my key ring and the possibility of losing the toothpick always loomed. I took another look at the knife and figured I could grind down the screwdriver/fingernail cleaner thing into a hook shape that would work and still not affect it's utility as a fingernail cleaner (yes, with assiduous cleaning between uses).
The screwdriver utility is no great loss to me.TLDR - picture

I wanted a way of carrying this briefcase on my planner rack. So I made a webbing harness for it.
Then I attached a pannier clip rail to it.
And hey presto:
