Yeah, the rough plan is when she goes back to work it's something that can be done around child care to mitigate the cost. She won't be able to go back to her current job and starting a new office based career will only cover the child care costs so not much point to it.

Unless you still know the area well then it's probably worth renting for a while up there to get the feel of the different areas.
