2011 is not on the BC list.
But tdf 2009 is.
But you can no longer buy the game digitally.
So you'd need the disc.
Any game released on Xbox One (minus Kinect games) will be compatible with the Series X either through the digital version if you already own it or any disc you're able to buy.
If you're only interested in Xbox One games and a few 360 games (that you can still buy digitally) then the Series S will be fine. If not, you'd need the Series X.
Also - there are some 360 games that are BC on Game Pass. You can have a look through the list here. Obviously these can change over time...
With the Xbox game pass do they have any backwards compatible games from previous consoles available on it digitally? Also is there a list of games that are currently available digitally out on the One generation? Say I want to play Tour De France 2011 from the 360 that is currently backwards compatible on the One and so should be on the Series S/X, I'd imagine I'd need the physical copy in order to play this and it won't be available on Game Pass or available as a digital download?
I Plan to get the Series X, and hope to use the backwards compatibility to play a bunch of games on the One generation that I've skipped over the last few years so I'm assuming I'll definitely need the Series X over the Series S to do this as not all games will be available digitally?
