If its a weekend, Id recommend getting there before 8am. Last time I went we parked at the bottom of the pyg track in the car park, used a camping stove for a coffee and breakfast and set off by 7.45. As we were leaving a queue had formed at the entry to the car park, we got to the top in around 2 and a half hours with lots of looking at the scenery.
Thanks folks, I plan on taking Pen y pass from the carpark. I'll try to get these early doors to grab a parking space.
Crib Goch looks challenging and I'm sure I'd be alright, but it's not something I'd really like to try on a November morning whilst on my own.
