  • I'm not sure... A car built 50 years ago, still driving and easy to fix makes sense compared to something that weighs 2 tones and has a lifecycle of 10 years.

  • In an ideal world modern electrics should have excellent life cycles as there is less wear. This combined with a huge increase in cost from moving disposal costs back to manufacturers, which is then passed onto the consumer, should incentives longer lasting products capable of maintainance and repair.
