Personally I like the idea of oem+ when it comes to modding cars.
But then there are some cars that are so ubiquitous it doesn't feel like it matters and then there are others (MGs and Minis spring to mind) where modding and engine swaps are almost integral to the cars image.
This view will become more and more difficult to stand by when the world is fully electric/hydrogen and the only cars spitting out fumes are 'classics' owned by the rich?
I guess the DS is one that I don't mind being turned into to a milk float. (Jetsons worx)
Classic cars being converted however is something that doesn't appeal.
Call me a ludite, but the heart is the engine.
Bit like classic watches, they shouldnt be altered.
