You need to call up the fault memory to confirm the fault to see exactly what it is, usually a new seat mat and sometimes the small matchbox sized control box under the passenger seat.
I have heard of aftermarket resistor kits to plug in that people use when fitting non standard seats that don't have mats try googling them. :)

Cool, any ideas how to sort the light? Easy to wire through to permanent on? It's an MOT fail if it's on so I'm keen to get it sorted.
