From what I can gather, it has, rightly, had repercussions and Antoine Vayer, @festinaboy on Twitter, has deleted that account for his role in this.
Bizarre. It seems to be prompted by her being a journalist covering the Tour and Alaphilippe riding it.

I can see the point of caricaturing that, but as commentators on that Tw*tter thread note, it's not even funny.
