Time for me to sadly part with my Look KG486 build..
Initially raced in the professional peloton from 2004 by Crédit Agricole and Kelme team leaders Christophe Moreau and Oscar Sevilla (and later Alejandro Valverde) and developed by the grandaddy of all things Look - Laurent Jalabert, this was supposedly his first major project after riding retirement.
The build is light, quick and gives an absolute beauty of a ride. I upgraded to a 785 Huez recently, and the difference is surprisingly small. This bike is equally as quick on the climbs, and indeed some of my quickest times have still to be beaten on the new bike (clearly this may be mainly related to the riders ever increasing age and laziness rather than bike itself, but still)
Very hard to bring myself to sell this after years of research and planning in the build, but really need to fund a more winter friendly bike that will double as all road capable for this gravel stuff everyone seems to be talking about. I basically need to n-1 so that I can n +1 once again…
Full Campagnolo Record 10sp Titanium Groupset. Shifts beautifully, and in my opinion some of the nicest looking stuff they have ever done. QS shifters are comfortable and function superiorly to much of the newer campag stuff.
Full Carbon F + F. 54cm Size Frame stack : 556 Frame Reach: 400
(See geo sheet below plus bike fit guide for current set up, I am 5”11 for reference)
52/39 Ultratorque Chainset
FSA Headset
11-29 Cassette
Fizik Cyrano 400m Bars “Chameleon”
Cinelli Vai XL Stem
Ultra torque Bottom Bracket
Mavic Cosmic Elite Wheels - run true and straight
Continental GP4000 +5000 tyres - plenty life left in both
Look KEO 2 Max pedals (clearly)
Selle Italia Flite Saddle
Brand new bar tape
I bought the frame as NOS 4-5 years ago. Its been well looked after, and well enjoyed since. A few small scuffs, paint chips, and general signs of wear and tear here and there but nothing major. The bike has never been left outside or used for commuting etc.
It’s a superb bike and everything everything works as it should. The feel from this bike is far superior to many of the the cheap mass produced modern frames that are available nowadays
£1250 for the complete bike which reflects the cost of the build. Bike located in Hoxton, N1. Ideally collection only. Photos below and DM for questions obvs
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
Tips:
Create headers by underlining text with ==== or ----
To *italicise* text put one asterisk each side of the word
To **bold** text put two asterisks each side of the word
Embed images by entering: ![](https://www.google.co.uk/images/srpr/logo4w.png) That's the hard one: exclamation, square brackets and then the URL to the image in brackets.
* Create lists by starting lines with asterisks
1. Create numbered lists by starting lines with a number and a dot

For syntax highlighting, surround the code block with three backticks:

Just like Github, a blank line must precede a code block.
