Arguably, they voted primarily to 'GET BREXIT DONE' rather than for Johnson, who was not very visible during the campaign. I don't know what his popularity is with the general public now, but he certainly seems to have lost a lot among Conservative Party members.

I don't hold out much hope, but the best thing that could possibly happen to this country would be for the Tories to remove Johnson from office. As expected, he has proven to be a ridiculous liability, same as in every job he has ever held.
