Rarity I'd guess with that bezel
https://www.thewatchsite.com/threads/review-the-rally-divers.319391/
from that article ^ it looks like the one in the shop has a non-original bezel

Hmm, wasn't aware of that.
I like it on a leather strap but my hunt for a decent, waterproof leather strap has been a bit fruitless. They all seem a bit thin and I'm looking for something a bit chunkier.

Hadn't seen that before, I like it. You don't get many true GMT watches at that price range.

Got this 22mm Geckota leather strap (one of the fancy, handmade ones, RRP over £50 from memory). The colour is interesting - looks black but it’s more like a greenish blue/dark turquoise sort of thing. Anyone interested for £30 posted?

Thanks. It wears really nicely too. He also rode motorbikes, so it's sort of a nice memory that I keep wanting to wear. Plus the bike is similar to my dad's Matchless.
Sadly it's sat in the loft for too long. Only recently got around to taking the back of and ordering a replacement battery. Hopefully some careful cleaning with a cotton bug dipped in WD40 will do the trick, but I'm not confident. And given I still have the bits for my skx013 upgrade waiting to be posted I can't see it being fixed for a while if it is fucked.

I had a hand me down Flik & Flak Swatch as my first watch, came with a book to teach you how to tell the time and the case was hard anodised so stood up to a fair amount of mistreatment. Gets my vote.

I don’t but I can snap one tomorrow. It’s the top tier Seiko Lumibrite stuff so it’s green and very bright. As in, you can see it glowing outdoors sometimes.

I wonder how it compares to Ball’s tritium gas. Seiko probably a bit brighter in full charge?

This is awesome. It looks printed. 😎

No idea, not seen a tritium tube watch to be able to compare.

Thanks! The dial has a slight iridescent effect in some light but doesn't really show in the photo.

Love a bit of Tin Tin! You need an Asterix one like this too!

If you’re after a fuss free strap, have you thought about rubber (if that’s not too personal a question)?
My BB is on a Vanguard strap and I really like it, it’s comfy and pretty smart. For me, the filled in lug space changes the feel of the watch a bit - imo it makes it seem a little sportier and casual, which I kinda like - but that‘s just my weird taste.
Watch Obsesion have got some Rios water resistant leather straps and am sure Hirsch have a few options too. Watch gecko do a load of water proof sailcloth type straps which are also pretty smart, including a padded version if you want some chunk.

I've got one of the sailcloth waterproof ones for my Omega. I like the pre-assembled / fixed spring bars. It does stay fairly rigid imo.
I still prefer the bracelet over any of the straps I've got. It adds some chunkiness to the watch as most of the straps go down from a (in this case) 21mm lug width to an 18mm buckle which to me doesn't look as nice. Plus the bracelet features the micro adjust functionality that I often use.

For something different. I like the look of this...
Or swap it to keep the OM part new.
