There’s a limit to the accuracy of GPS in built up areas. Buildings block the line of sight to satellites, there are reflections, etc. Most GPS units, except the real bottom of the market, have reached the point where they’re as good as they’re going to get in terms of accuracy.
I suspect the Edge 530 is no better or worse than the high end units in this regard.
I noticed recently that the recorded rides from the Garmin 530 look a bit shit. Is that
low accuracy normal? If the track looks that poor how reliable is the data of speed and
distance?
