If you’re after a fuss free strap, have you thought about rubber (if that’s not too personal a question)?
My BB is on a Vanguard strap and I really like it, it’s comfy and pretty smart. For me, the filled in lug space changes the feel of the watch a bit - imo it makes it seem a little sportier and casual, which I kinda like - but that‘s just my weird taste.
Watch Obsesion have got some Rios water resistant leather straps and am sure Hirsch have a few options too. Watch gecko do a load of water proof sailcloth type straps which are also pretty smart, including a padded version if you want some chunk.

Hmm, wasn't aware of that.
I like it on a leather strap but my hunt for a decent, waterproof leather strap has been a bit fruitless. They all seem a bit thin and I'm looking for something a bit chunkier.
