MagSafe or USB C?
I’ve found the cheapo MagSafe ones are slightly underpowered and the battery can go backwards, and the cables are even less durable.
Also such things tend to have a casual approach to electrical safety and RF emissions best practice, although usually just about on the right side of acceptable. Usually.
The charging plug/cable for my MacBook Pro 13” 2017 is on the way out.
The official replacement cost nearly £70. Is there any good reason to pay this over a £25/30 no official version?
