Yeah don't listen to me when it comes to monitors. I did my research and got a non apple one that was shit, since then I'm throwing money at it instead

Sorry - i meant the monitor you linked to doesn't have USB C :)
USB C is definitely much better than HDMI if you can afford a monitor with it...
