Sure looks that way doesn't it.

Riding around town it reminds me a lot of the rigid SS Vitus 26er I had a while ago. The steering is fast, but no handing it is easy so I wouldn't say it's twitchy. Maybe just a smaller gyro to overcome and a smaller wheelbase?
Whilst I'm sure everyone who gets one will be saying "rides just like a normal bike!" - -And I largely agree- the small wheels with high pressure BMX tyres definitely don't provide the kind of roll over or cushioning you get on a larger bike. I think the burly MTB finishing kit maybe contributes to that? Might think about moving some stuff around but for now I'm super happy with it. I'll experiment with dropping the bars lower and higher before cutting the steerer tube and maybe look into some gears next year or so.
For the record I'm 5'10 with long legs. Normally have a seat to BB of 71cm

the irony of buying this because you can't bunny hop, but to ride any meaningful gnar on it you're gonna have to learn.

I would kind wish it didn't though, I'd expect extra chuckability.

got the chance to ride 200ft on this today outside the coffee shop, made me re-evaluate all my bike decisions up till now, it's exceptional.
genuinely feels like riding a bmx you can sit down on, the quick spin up, the steering, just an exceptional city bike.
Want one tbqh

How high can you bunny hop it compared to a Bmx?

Some pics of the bike's usage in the last 10 months. It's good. I like it. Recommend to all. Still might add gears to it in the future but the current ss gear is low enough that with the bars i can manhandle it up most hills anyway.

My general justification for the frame was that I wanted to be able to put it in my car easily, I don't know how much better than a full size frame it is for this but it's pretty easy. I tend to turn the bars sideways and remove the seat post and that gets it into my car (mazda 6) with the seats down.
However my constant loosening of the bolts on the stem with a cheap Y allen key has started to wear them. I'll look to replacing them and possibly also the allen key too. I assume I could get a Torx or some other kind of bolt which would be more resistant to this kind of thing.
I also think I've never pumped the tyres up over the last 10 months and they're much more comfy now than they originally were.
Also, "normal" people love this bike in a kind of nice way. It reminds me a bit of when I rented a Morgan for a day. People do sometimes expect me to be able to jump stairs though, which, alas, I cannot do.

Would taking the front wheel off to put it in the car avoid having to do the bolts every time?
Looks like a QR?
You'd maybe want to keep a pad spacer handy -

so painful when this gets bumped ..

Agreed. Really want...

If you put a nice rack on it you could put a huge basket and then it'd basically be a cargo bike, which you seem to be able to justify owning multiple of.
Or put an ebike motor on it and

They seem a little thin on the ground currently. I’m getting hung up on the mini velo thing now. Should cost less than £200 to throw a nice build together. If only the frame wasn’t so goddamn expensive

Have taken the bike to Devon. Hope to try and ride a bit of the Tarka trail if I can get a spare day. I heard it's flat, which is more than I can say for the brief footpath loop I rode today.
One change I've made since I last posted is that I've fitted MKS Allways EZY superior pedals. They have a quick release mechanism which means it's a bit easier to chuck the bike in the back seats of my car, no need to get the big pedal spanner out.
Taking it to Devon I wanted to fit it into the boot so I did a semi rinko thing which was a good way to get some grease on my white shirt that I can't get off. I don't have a bag for it either so it wasn't really a particularly wieldy package. I think I need to get some straps to tie the whole shebang together. What length voile straps should I get? 20 inches? 30? Toe straps don't seem long enough. Please advise.

Oh really? I'm planning to upgrade to gears at some point. Feels like a cheap win.
