My general justification for the frame was that I wanted to be able to put it in my car easily, I don't know how much better than a full size frame it is for this but it's pretty easy. I tend to turn the bars sideways and remove the seat post and that gets it into my car (mazda 6) with the seats down.
However my constant loosening of the bolts on the stem with a cheap Y allen key has started to wear them. I'll look to replacing them and possibly also the allen key too. I assume I could get a Torx or some other kind of bolt which would be more resistant to this kind of thing.
I also think I've never pumped the tyres up over the last 10 months and they're much more comfy now than they originally were.
Also, "normal" people love this bike in a kind of nice way. It reminds me a bit of when I rented a Morgan for a day. People do sometimes expect me to be able to jump stairs though, which, alas, I cannot do.
