Yeah spot on mate...doubly so for anything off road. Not only am I considerably more shite as a rider, falling off is an inevitable part of the fun. I choke every time I get a chance to buy something shiny - it's been YEARS now...

Yeah I can dig it. There's something to be said about having something you're not afraid to wrangle without fearing for scratching it.
Reckon the sweet spot for bikes now is early to mid 2000's

Preach - that was a cracking vintage for sportsbikes too, if slightly part of the hand grenade era of dirt machines.

All my old nails are ancient. 1994,1996,2000,2001,2005,2005.

Still, 5 out of 6 operational is not bad....
