I wouldn't float that sort of wedge on something I'll throw at the scenery.
That's a statement to live by that. Currently doing some long term work on the SV and same thing ran through my head. Had a chance to buy late plate Daytona 675, but it was...too clean. I'd hesitate to wring it's neck just in case. SV brings me joy, but I know much about it now to know when it begins to be unhappy so don't mind tearing it apart.

They’re winners. Exceedingly charming. Can't seem to post any pics, so you're off the hook on the additional temptation :)
Mine has the HRC kit and I can't imagine wanting anything faster off road. Even the stock ones are quick once uncorked....they're absolute tractors too, if the engine is turning, they'll drive.
All the new stuff from KTM / Husqvarna is better but I wouldn't float that sort of wedge on something I'll throw at the scenery.
