Lolo

I'm looking at 2o inches tyres for the front of my Omnium. The Schwalbe Big Apple is on the shortlist but it's only rated to 85kg, which is enough for everyday riding but obviously not enough for a load. Anyone's got any experience they'd like to share?

Think the rating of 85kg is per tyre, so should be fine on the front of the omnium.

Also they come as stock on the Urban Arrow bikes which are rated to carry more than an omnium.

Thanks, we'll be fine then. I'm hoping for a less bumpy ride now I'm carrying Jr.

Turns out the Big Apple is great tyre at the front of a cargo bike. It's certainly less bumpy for my kid who is up front. Hopefully the durability and puncture resistance are OK too.
