I made some awesome burgers early this summer. Used a plastic cheese simply named "mature slices". They were spot on.

Ketchup, raw onion, gherkin, cheers slice.

It’s with reluctance that I find myself ordering the burger because I know it’s the dish least likely to be fucked up in the pub kitchen. They sell 8 burgers for every other dish. That curry will be rank, the fish and chips like school dinners, don’t bother with the pasta...just shut up, order the burger and pretend you are 12 and don’t want grown up food

I've actively moved away from ketchup on burgers. I find it too sweet these days.

I hate my first hangover of 2020

You made it all the way to now? First drink of the year?

Started the year with bad food poisoning followed by long mountaineering trip and then straight into lockdown. Didn't really make a conscious decision to not drink but just ended up happening that way. Just didn't feel right to compromise my immune system during a pandemic.

Last night was my best mate's 40th. Got out of hand pretty quickly. I did not miss this feeling.

Ha, fair enough. Just save the next one for Christmas.

About a month ago I had my first hangover since having a baby, there was a lot of crying in the house that day!
