Great hivemind / hippy.

I have an garmin 800 Edge. The speedo bit was stolen with a bike that got nicked.

What can I get to replace it? Does it have to be garmin?

I see there's something called ANT? What is that?

I see some loads of non garmin bits, are they worth it?

I've never used the speed sensors with Garmin. I just leave it GPS-based.

Same here, these days, and rely on the power meters for cadence. That's why I've got GSC-10s going spare. The only one I use these days is on my turbo bike.
