  • I thought that’s a reflection before realising it’s the bar tape pattern.

  • Here is my Stroma. It is very nice to ride! Love it!

  • Biggest 700c tire you're got fitted to a Kepler Disc? I know Brother say 45, but wondering if 50 is possible....

Have seen a 650bX2.1" will fit just

  • Rad. Remind me of the tape ? Saw it on insta.

  • Yeah old Cinelli x MASH stuff

  • Thanks!
    This is the Camp and go Slow rattlesnake tape;

  • Interesting... Did you order direct from them, or have you found a UK supplier?

How've you found it? I've a hankering for all things Uncle Ron/Swift/Crust.

  • I squeezed in a 42c sawtooth with guards with a little bit of filing of the fork.

  • Looks nice
How do you find it rides ?

  • Ha, same! Think that tape will look great.

  • Brick lane bikes sell a lots of similar pattern (if not identical) as they’re non-branded tape.

  • Yep the woven tape is all from the same supplier...

  • I'm in Switzerland. I ordered directly from them. That was easier for me.

  • It very nice on the road. Much more reactive than my Wolverine! It feels rigide when you push hard but also comfy (the 35c tires might help!).
On gravel this is ok if it's smooh.

  • Fin.
    Potenza Disc
    Shamal Disc
    Fizik finishing kit
    (Need mudguards and bigger tyres)

  • Really like that.

  • Cheers bro.

  • How does it ride? I'm looking for something for all year road riding/occasional light gravel to replace my Kepler

  • Looks nice
Shamal wheels look great , how is the Potenza & what size are your tyres ?

  • Hey, I haven't quite had time to ride it so cannot comment yet. I will post up. I've been riding very light carbon bikes all summer so this will be a shock to system... the potenze rear cassette weighs a tonne...

  • I've not quite finished setting this up, tyres are temporary for now, but will most likely run tubeless (eeek) GP 5000 32's. Tyres in pic are 700x28 schwalbe...

Potenza feels good on my limited 10min ride. The levers are need fiddling with to get flatter transtion and I also need to play around with spacers as stack is v.generous.

I need to sort out mudguards, but the Kinesis Fend Off ones I have bought have a crimped area assuming you will mount to front of mudguard which is asthetically pissing on my chips... so I will most likely get rid of them and replace with something cleaner looking... struggling to get Sim Works x Honjo dealer in UK and don't want to ship from states.

  • Part and Labour in Lewisham.

  • First ride today. I cannot really comment on ride too much as my saddle is not set up correctly and these SMP’s make or break ride quality. The thru axles are a revelation. The potenza shifts nicely and bike does shift...
