I've got the vango version of this (sans piezo) and love it. Definitely not ultralight but heat modulation is really good. Have just ordered a butane adapter so can use the cheaper cans.
Funny that you mention trangia - i've actually been considering getting a gas one despite have the above, though mainly for car camping + when i know wind is going to be an ongoing issue.
Not really stove appreciation, but it works well enough...
Tried out the new gas stove last night and this morning. Well impressed for £13.59 + gas. Folded bacofoil wind break £almost free.

Its a bit bulkier and heavier than one which goes atop the gas canister (although there's probably not much in it if you had a stand for the canister). The lower height and fairly wide legs gave a good base and the pot supports work well with 750ml cup or a frying pan.
Piezo ignition works well, but some care is required to save catching it when folding the legs. It can roar on full, and adjusts well, down to holding onto a tiny flame which was good for keeping a cup of water hot to heat through a bagged meal.
It has no soul, but it may get more use than my Trangia now.
