Smoked anything is wretched and as for barbeque sauce....
The other day I had the foresight to order a (very nice) burger meal on a plate. I had just seen a meal delivered to another table on a scabby old bread board.

How do you clean a wooden board to commercial kitchen standards without destroying it?

Easy, because those standards are nowhere near as high as you'd like to think they are.

They can all be destroyed as far as I am concerned. Likewise slates, bricks and little metal dustbins for your chips.
